The Marques de Casa Concha Cinsault Rosé represents a modern, terroir-driven exploration into Chile's historic southern viticultural roots in the Itata Valley. Sourced from ancient, dry-farmed bush vines grown on weathered granitic soils, this wine pays homage to the traditional viticulture of the Sur region. While the Marques de Casa Concha line is historically famous for its robust Maipo reds, this pale, delicate rosé showcases a different side of Chilean heritage. Crafted with minimal skin contact and fermented in stainless steel tanks, it captures the vibrant, wild character of Itata's coastal-influenced landscape, yielding a wine of remarkable freshness, subtle minerality, and bright red fruit notes.
🍾 Om vinhuset / producenten
Viña Concha y Toro blev grundlagt i 1883 af Don Melchor de Concha y Toro og hans hustru Emiliana Subercaseaux. Vinhuset er i dag Chiles mest fremtrædende producent og en absolut hjørnesten i sydamerikansk vinhistorie. Hovedsædet ligger i Pirque i den historiske Maipo Valley, og ejendommens fundament blev lagt med ædle franske vinstokke hentet direkte fra Bordeaux. Siden har porteføljen bredt sig til Chiles bedste dale, lige fra Limarí til Peumo. Concha y Toro forener banebrydende vinvidenskab med et kompromisløst fokus på bæredygtighed, og husets vine afspejler på smukkeste vis de alsidige mikroklimaer og jordbunde i Central Valley, Aconcagua og de sydlige regioner.
