The Marques de Casa Concha heritage dates back to 1718 when King Philip V of Spain bestowed the noble title upon the family of Concha y Toro's founder. This Edicion Limitada Chardonnay represents a modern exploration into Chile's cool southern frontier, specifically the Bío-Bío Valley in the Sur region. Benefiting from a cold climate, abundant rainfall, and red clay soils of volcanic origin, the grapes undergo a slow ripening process that preserves intense natural acidity. The wine is typically fermented and aged in French oak barrels, resulting in a sophisticated Chardonnay that beautifully marries vibrant citrus and green apple notes with a delicate toasted hazelnut complexity and a creamy, textured finish.

Founded in 1883 by Don Melchor de Santiago Concha y Toro and his wife, Emiliana Subercaseaux, Viña Concha y Toro is Chile's most historic and globally recognized winery, headquartered in the picturesque commune of Pirque within the Maipo Valley. Under the stewardship of the Guilisasti family since the mid-20th century, the estate has expanded its reach across Chile's premier terroirs, from the coastal breezes of Casablanca to the warm, clay-rich soils of Peumo in the Cachapoal Valley. The winery is celebrated for its pioneering spirit and commitment to sustainability, producing world-class wines that showcase the diverse microclimates of Chile. Their portfolio is anchored by iconic expressions such as the critically acclaimed Carmín de Peumo Carmenere, the terroir-driven Terrunyo line, and the legendary, globally beloved Casillero del Diablo range.
