The Marques de Casa Concha line, debuted in 1976, pays homage to the noble title granted to the founder of Concha y Toro by King Philip V of Spain in 1718. This Sauvignon Blanc is sourced from the cool-climate vineyards of the Leyda Valley within the coastal zone of the Aconcagua region. Situated a mere 14 kilometers from the Pacific Ocean, the vines benefit from morning mists and cooling sea breezes that slow ripening and preserve natural acidity. Grown on rolling hills with clay and decomposed granite soils, the grapes are harvested by hand and fermented primarily in stainless steel tanks. This precise vinification captures the classic coastal Chilean expression: vibrant mineral tension, intense citrus aromas, and a distinct herbal complexity.

Viña Concha y Toro blev grundlagt i 1883 af Don Melchor de Concha y Toro og hans hustru Emiliana Subercaseaux. Vinhuset er i dag Chiles mest fremtrædende producent og en absolut hjørnesten i sydamerikansk vinhistorie. Hovedsædet ligger i Pirque i den historiske Maipo Valley, og ejendommens fundament blev lagt med ædle franske vinstokke hentet direkte fra Bordeaux. Siden har porteføljen bredt sig til Chiles bedste dale, lige fra Limarí til Peumo. Concha y Toro forener banebrydende vinvidenskab med et kompromisløst fokus på bæredygtighed, og husets vine afspejler på smukkeste vis de alsidige mikroklimaer og jordbunde i Central Valley, Aconcagua og de sydlige regioner. Vingården nyder international anerkendelse for sine skelsættende rødvine – især ekspressiv Cabernet Sauvignon og Carmenère – hvilket kommer til udtryk i ikoniske prestige-cuvéer som Carmín de Peumo, Terrunyo-serien og den legendariske Marques de Casa Concha-linje.
