The Erté Collection by Courvoisier represents an extraordinary marriage of fine art and master blending. Launched in collaboration with the legendary Russian-born French Art Deco artist Erté (Romain de Tirtoff), this highly collectible series features eight unique decanters. No. 6, titled 'L'Esprit du Cognac' (or 'Esprit'), represents the very soul of the spirit, adorned with a striking silhouette that captures the essence of cognac. Inside is an exquisite blend of rare, mature Grande Champagne cognacs, with some components dating back to 1892, the year of Erté's birth. This liquid history offers unparalleled depth, showcasing the pinnacle of Courvoisier's blending artistry with notes of old leather, dried fruits, exotic spices, and the coveted rancio Charentais.

Established in 1828 by Félix Courvoisier and Jules Gallois, Courvoisier is a legendary Cognac house headquartered in Jarnac, France, renowned for its rich heritage and historic association with Napoleon Bonaparte. The house meticulously crafts its spirits by sourcing grapes from the region's finest crus—Grande Champagne, Petite Champagne, Borderies, and Fins Bois—and employing traditional double distillation in Charentais copper alembic stills. Aged in bespoke French oak casks sourced from the Tronçais and Limousin forests, Courvoisier's cognacs are celebrated for their exceptional complexity, vibrant floral notes, and smooth finish. This rigorous dedication to quality is epitomized in prestigious releases such as the XO, Initiale Extra, and the highly collectible Erté Collection.
