The Courvoisier Erté Collection is a legendary collaboration between the historic Cognac house and the father of Art Deco, Romain de Tirtoff, globally known as Erté. Released in 1994, No. 7 'La Part des Anges' (The Angels' Share) represents the final masterpiece in this highly coveted series. The title pays homage to the natural evaporation of spirit that occurs during the long oak aging process, a mystical loss that distillers poetically attribute to the heavens. The liquid inside is an extraordinary blend of rare Grande Champagne cognacs, with some components dating back to 1892, the year of Erté's birth. The decanter itself is a work of art, beautifully illustrating an ethereal silhouette ascending with the precious vapors of the spirit. This release remains one of the most collectible and culturally significant liquid treasures in the world of spirits.

Maison Courvoisier blev grundlagt i Paris i begyndelsen af det 19. århundrede af Emmanuel Courvoisier og Louis Gallois, inden huset flyttede til den historiske flodby Jarnac i Cognac-regionen.
