Crafted by the historic Compañía Vinícola del Norte de España (CVNE), founded in 1879 in Haro's legendary Barrio de la Estación, Asua Crianza is a heartfelt tribute to the estate's visionary founders, the Real de Asúa brothers. This wine captures the classic soul of Rioja Alta, sourced from select vineyards where clay-limestone soils and a cooling Atlantic influence yield Tempranillo of exceptional balance and freshness. Following traditional fermentation, the wine is aged for approximately 12 months in a combination of French and American oak casks, followed by further refinement in the bottle. This process coaxes out a harmonious profile rich in bright red cherry, plum, sweet spices, and subtle toasted vanilla, honoring over a century of Riojan winemaking heritage.
