The brand name 'Cune' famously arose from an early typographical error misspelling the winery's acronym, CVNE. Crafted primarily from the indigenous Viura grape grown in clay-limestone soils, this wine undergoes fermentation and a brief aging period of a few months on its fine lees in American oak barrels.
