Crafted by the historic Compañía Vinícola del Norte de España (CVNE), founded in 1879 by the Real de Asúa brothers, this cuvée pays homage to the winery's pioneering founders. Real de Asúa Carromaza is a single-vineyard expression sourced from the Carromaza plot in Haro, Rioja Alta. This high-altitude vineyard, characterized by its chalky clay-limestone soils and cool Atlantic-influenced microclimate, yields Tempranillo of exceptional purity, structure, and tension. Fermented in small oak vats and aged in fine French oak barrels, the wine represents a harmonious bridge between CVNE's century-old heritage and a contemporary, terroir-driven focus on single-plot identity. It embodies the elegance, vibrant acidity, and deep mineral character typical of Haro's finest terroirs.

Compañía Vinícola del Norte de España (CVNE) blev grundlagt i 1879 af brødrene Raimundo og Eusebio Real de Asúa og er et af Riojas mest prestigefyldte og historiske vinhuse, med base i det ikoniske Barrio de la Estación i Haro. Vingården drives den dag i dag af grundlæggernes efterkommere, som forener klassiske vinfremstillingstraditioner med nytænkende innovation på tværs af husets forskellige ejendomme og kældre.
