Crafted as a prestigious tribute to the founding brothers of CVNE, Eusebio and Raimundo Real de Asua, who established the winery in Haro's historic Barrio de la Estacion in 1879, Real de Asua represents a pinnacle of Rioja Alta winemaking. This cuvee is sourced from select, high-altitude estate vineyards in the cool-climate enclave of Villalba, where Tempranillo grapes thrive on calcareous clay soils. The winemaking process respects both tradition and modernity, utilizing fermentation in oak vats followed by extensive aging in new French oak barrels. The resulting wine is celebrated for its deep concentration, vibrant acidity, and velvety tannins, offering a sophisticated, age-worthy expression of Haro's unique terroir.

Founded in 1879 by brothers Raimundo and Eusebio Real de Asúa, the Compañía Vinícola del Norte de España (CVNE) is one of Rioja's foundational and most prestigious historic bodegas, headquartered in the iconic Barrio de la Estación in Haro, Spain.
