Crafted predominantly from Tempranillo (Tinta del País), this wine showcases the dramatic continental climate of the Duero river basin, where extreme diurnal temperature shifts preserve vibrant acidity while developing deep, concentrated fruit flavors. Aged meticulously in a combination of American and French oak barrels for at least 12 months, it marries the traditional Spanish elegance CVNE is famous for with the bold, robust character of Castilla y León's ancient soils. The result is a beautifully structured red that balances ripe dark berries, sweet spices, and earthy undertones.

Compañía Vinícola del Norte de España (CVNE) blev grundlagt i 1879 af brødrene Raimundo og Eusebio Real de Asúa og er et af Riojas mest prestigefyldte og historiske vinhuse, med base i det ikoniske Barrio de la Estación i Haro. Vingården drives den dag i dag af grundlæggernes efterkommere, som forener klassiske vinfremstillingstraditioner med nytænkende innovation på tværs af husets forskellige ejendomme og kældre.
