Viña Real, a landmark brand created by the historic CVNE in the 1920s, represents a harmonious blend of Rioja Alavesa's rich winemaking heritage and modern innovation. This elegant white wine is crafted predominantly from the indigenous Viura grape, grown in the clay-limestone soils of Rioja Alavesa, where the Atlantic climate brings essential acidity and freshness. Historically, CVNE has been a pioneer in gravity-flow winery design, and this wine benefits from that legacy of gentle handling. To create its signature style, the must is fermented in new French oak casks and aged on its fine lees. This technique beautifully marries the vibrant, citrusy, and floral nature of Viura with a rich, creamy texture and subtle notes of toasted brioche, vanilla, and sweet spice, showcasing a sophisticated and structured side of white Rioja.

Compañía Vinícola del Norte de España (CVNE) blev grundlagt i 1879 af brødrene Raimundo og Eusebio Real de Asúa og er et af Riojas mest prestigefyldte og historiske vinhuse, med base i det ikoniske Barrio de la Estación i Haro. Vingården drives den dag i dag af grundlæggernes efterkommere, som forener klassiske vinfremstillingstraditioner med nytænkende innovation på tværs af husets forskellige ejendomme og kældre.
