Named after the clever wild foxes that roam the vineyards and feast on the sweet, ripe grapes at harvest time, 'The Feral Fox' is d'Arenberg's tribute to the cooler-climate Pinot Noir of South Australia. Sourced primarily from the Adelaide Hills, where the elevated, cooler conditions are ideal for this delicate variety, the wine is crafted using traditional methods. This includes gentle foot-treading in open fermenters and basket pressing, followed by aging in French oak. The result is a Pinot Noir that balances bright red cherry and wild strawberry fruit with rustic, savory undertones, earth, and gamey complexity, capturing the wild and untamed nature of its namesake.

Founded in 1912 by Joseph Osborn, d'Arenberg has grown into one of McLaren Vale's most iconic and storied family-owned estates in South Australia.
