Invented in the late 19th century, this ingenious device revolutionized farming by automatically lifting over tree stumps and rocks, allowing pioneers to cultivate the rugged Australian terrain. The wine's playful label, designed like an optometrist's eye chart, humorously suggests that if you can't read it, you shouldn't be operating heavy machinery. Crafted from Grenache, Shiraz, and Mourvèdre grown in the sun-drenched vineyards of South Australia, this wine undergoes traditional fermentation in open fermenters followed by gentle basket pressing. The result is a vibrant, fruit-driven red that captures the generous, approachable spirit of the region with its bright red berry flavors, savory spice, and soft, velvety tannins.

Established in 1912 by Joseph Osborn, d'Arenberg stands as an iconic pillar of McLaren Vale viticulture, stewarded today by fourth-generation chief winemaker Chester Osborn.
