Domaine Dirler-Cadé’s Pinot Blanc Réserve is a beautiful expression of Alsace's traditional viticulture, crafted with a deep respect for the natural rhythms of the earth. In Alsace, wines labeled as Pinot Blanc are historically and traditionally a harmonious blend of Pinot Blanc and its close relative, Pinot Auxerrois. Sourced from biodynamically farmed vineyards in and around the village of Bergholtz, the grapes benefit from the region's diverse soils, which combine clay, limestone, and sandstone. The Dirler-Cadé family employs meticulous hand-harvesting and gentle, long pressings, followed by fermentation with indigenous yeasts and aging on fine lees in traditional large oak foudres. This patient, low-intervention approach coaxes out a wine of remarkable purity, balancing a round, textured palate with a vibrant, limestone-driven mineral core. It stands as a testament to the family's pioneering spirit in biodynamics, capturing the quiet elegance and historical depth of the Alsace foothills.

Established in 1871 in the southern Alsatian village of Bergholtz, Domaine Dirler-Cadé represents the union of two historic winegrowing families, merged in 2000 following the marriage of Jean Dirler and Ludivine Cadé. A pioneer of biodynamic viticulture in Alsace, the estate converted its vineyards to biodynamics in 1998 to respect natural biodiversity and preserve soil vitality. Their prime vineyard holdings encompass historic Grands Crus—including Kessler, Kitterlé, Saering, and Spiegel—alongside distinct lieux-dits such as Belzbrunnen and Schimberg. Dirler-Cadé is globally renowned for its bone-dry, terroir-driven Rieslings, vibrant Pinot Gris, aromatic Gewurztraminers, and finely textured Crémant d'Alsace sparkling wines.
