The Dom Pérignon Jeff Koons 'Balloon Venus' Rosé represents a spectacular intersection of contemporary art and centuries-old winemaking heritage. This limited-edition bottling houses the iconic Dom Pérignon Rosé, a vintage Champagne crafted from a precise blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Its distinctive copper-pink hue and structured, vinous character come from the addition of still red Pinot Noir sourced from the finest Grand Cru plots. The wine pays homage to the legacy of Dom Pierre Pérignon, the 17th-century Benedictine monk who pioneered revolutionary sparkling winemaking techniques at the Abbey of Hautvillers. For this collaboration, artist Jeff Koons created a design inspired by his 'Balloon Venus' sculpture—a modern take on the prehistoric Venus of Willendorf that symbolizes fertility, rebirth, and the transformative power of time, mirroring the slow, decade-long maturation the wine undergoes in the deep chalk cellars of Épernay.
