✨ Technical Specifications

The Dom Pérignon P2 Trilogy Assortment Case represents the zenith of Champagne's temporal mastery. Named after the legendary Benedictine monk Dom Pierre Pérignon, who famously sought to make 'the best wine in the world' at the Abbey of Hautvillers, this collection showcases the house's 'Plénitude 2' concept. While the first plénitude (P1) is released after approximately nine years, P2 undergoes a second life, aging on its yeast lees for close to fifteen years in the chalky depths of Épernay. This extended maturation under the close surveillance of the Chef de Cave transforms the classic Chardonnay and Pinot Noir blend, elevating its complexity, energy, and precision. The trilogy case brings together three distinct vintages, highlighting how different growing seasons respond to this prolonged maturation, resulting in Champagnes of profound depth, vibrant minerality, and a creamy, majestic texture that bridges historical tradition with contemporary winemaking artistry.

🍾 About the Producer

Named in honor of the 17th-century Benedictine monk who pioneered foundational sparkling winemaking techniques at the historic Abbey of Hautvillers, Dom Pérignon stands as the archetype of prestige vintage Champagne. Owned by Moët Hennessy, the house strictly produces only vintage wines, releasing cuvées exclusively in harvest years deemed truly exceptional. Crafted from a seamless blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir sourced from Grand Cru vineyards and the historic Premier Cru of Hautvillers, each vintage undergoes a minimum of eight years of lees aging. The signature Dom Pérignon Brut, along with its rare Rosé and extended-aging Plénitude editions, is celebrated worldwide for its immaculate balance of youthful freshness, mineral precision, and deep, autolytic complexity.
