This exclusive collaboration brings together the historic prestige of Dom Perignon and the vibrant contemporary vision of Japanese artist Takashi Murakami. Dom Perignon is produced exclusively as a vintage Champagne, crafted only in exceptional years from a harmonious blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir sourced from Grand Cru and Premier Cru vineyards. The house traces its spiritual lineage back to the Benedictine monk Dom Pierre Perignon, who pioneered revolutionary winemaking techniques in the Abbey of Hautvillers. For this special release, Murakami reimagined the iconic bottle with his signature smiling flowers, juxtaposing the deep, slow-aged complexity of the Champagne with modern pop art. Aged on its lees for nearly a decade, the wine exhibits a precise balance of vibrant acidity, rich brioche notes, toasted nuts, and a signature mineral-driven finish.

🍾 wine.about_producer

Named after the legendary 17th-century Benedictine monk who pioneered winemaking techniques at the Abbey of Hautvillers, Dom Pérignon is a world-renowned prestige Champagne house based in Épernay, France. Now owned by Moët & Chandon, the house is defined by its uncompromising commitment to vintage-only releases, meaning each bottling is crafted exclusively from the harvest of a single exceptional year. Composed of a harmonious blend of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, the wines undergo a minimum of eight years of cellar aging on the lees to develop their signature complexity, tension, and silky texture. The iconic Dom Pérignon Brut stands as the benchmark of this meticulous philosophy, celebrated globally for its precise minerality, vibrant acidity, and profound aging potential.
