🍾 About the Producer
Domaine de la Baume is situated in Servian, located between Béziers and the historic town of Pézenas in the Languedoc-Roussillon region of France. Established in 1882 by the Prat family, who revitalized the vineyard following the phylloxera crisis, the estate entered a new era of modernization after being acquired by the Grands Chais de France group in 2003. Benefiting from a sun-drenched Mediterranean climate and varied clay-limestone soils, the domaine focuses on crafting expressive, fruit-forward single-varietal wines under the Pays d'Oc IGP. The winery is particularly recognized for its aromatic white expressions, most notably the signature Elisabeth Viognier, as well as elegant Chardonnays and structured red varietals.
