🍷 Vintage Profile
The 2025 growing season across Pouilly-Fumé demanded rigorous canopy management under sustainable protocols to counter intermittent mid-season humidity, yet culminated in cool, luminous late-summer conditions that preserved electric natural acidity. Phenolic maturity in the Sauvignon Blanc developed steadily without excessive sugar accumulation, translating into a classically taut, linear profile defined by pungent citrus zest and pronounced silex smoke. Early market reception identifies the vintage as fresh and terroir-driven, showing pristine focus upon its 2026 release with optimal drinking projected through 2030.

✨ Technical Specifications
Cultivated on the right bank of the Loire River, this Pouilly-Fumé draws its character from classic flinty silex and calcareous clay soils. Vinification takes place entirely in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats to retain purity of fruit and sharp varietal expression. The wine matures on its fine lees for several months with periodic stirring, enhancing textural volume and amplifying the signature gunflint tension characteristic of the appellation.
🍾 About the Producer
Domaine Raimbault-Pineau is a multi-generational family estate anchored in the village of Sury-en-Vaux, located five kilometers northwest of Sancerre in the Central Loire Valley. With viticultural roots spanning thirteen generations and more than three centuries, the 18-hectare domaine is directed by Sonia Raimbault alongside her children. The vineyards are distributed across the signature geological trio of the region: Oxfordian limestone caillottes, fossil-rich Kimmeridgian marls (terres blanches), and flint-laden silex, extending across four appellations—Sancerre, Pouilly-Fumé, Coteaux du Giennois, and Menetou-Salon. Viticulture is conducted according to sustainable lutte raisonnée principles, respecting vine health and soil microbial life. Cellar practices prioritize temperature-controlled stainless steel vinification and fine-lees aging, preserving laser-sharp tension, bright citrus, and crisp gunflint minerality in Sauvignon Blanc, while crafting supple, red-fruited expressions of Pinot Noir.
