The Clos Windsbuhl, a historic walled vineyard overlooking the village of Hunawihr, has a rich heritage dating back to the 14th century when it was owned by the Habsburgs and later the Dukes of Württemberg. Characterized by its high-altitude, cool microclimate and Muschelkalk (magnesian limestone) soils, this terroir imparts a distinctive, vibrant acidity to its wines.
