The Brosseau Vineyard Pinot Noir from Dominion Tantara is a compelling expression of one of California's most distinctive terroirs. Situated in the remote Chalone AVA within the Gabilan Mountains, the Brosseau Vineyard sits at an elevation of 1,600 feet, directly exposed to dramatic diurnal temperature shifts and harsh, dry conditions. What truly sets this site apart is its rare soil composition of decomposed granite and limestone—a geological anomaly in California that mirrors the classic soils of Burgundy. Planted by the Brosseau family, this rugged vineyard yields intensely concentrated Pinot Noir grapes. Dominion Tantara coaxes these qualities into the bottle using traditional French winemaking methods, resulting in a wine that beautifully balances dark cherry and plum flavors with a signature flinty minerality, earthy undertones, and a firm, age-worthy structure.

Dominion Tantara blev grundlagt i 1997 i det kølige Santa Barbara County i Californien og er en anerkendt artisanal producent, der især udmærker sig med sine terroirdrevne vine på Pinot Noir og Chardonnay.
