Guigal and the prominent Danish wine merchant Philipson Wine, the Cuvée Philipson is a specially selected blend that showcases the Guigal family's masterly blending prowess. Sourced from high-quality vineyards in the Southern Rhône, this cuvée typically features a dominant portion of Syrah, rounded out with Grenache and Mourvèdre. It is vinified and aged in the ancient cellars of Château d'Ampuis in traditional oak foudres. This partnership blend captures the sun-drenched richness of the south while maintaining the structured, peppery elegance and Northern-style precision for which Guigal is globally renowned.

Founded in 1946 by Étienne Guigal in the historic village of Ampuis, Domaine E. Guigal is one of the most prestigious and defining estates in France's Rhône Valley. The family's legacy was further elevated under Marcel Guigal and his son Philippe, marked by the meticulous restoration of the Renaissance Château d'Ampuis and an uncompromising commitment to long oak aging through their own on-site cooperage.
