✨ wine.spec_sheet

Crafted by the legendary house of E. Guigal, 'La Reynarde' represents the meticulous blending and aging expertise that has made this family-owned estate a benchmark of the Rhône Valley. Drawing from select vineyards, this red cuvée captures the vibrant essence of the region's terroir. Typically composed of classic Rhône varietals such as Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre, the wine undergoes traditional vinification with temperature-controlled fermentation and extended maceration to extract deep color, rich tannins, and complex aromatics. It is then aged in the historic cellars of Ampuis, where Guigal's signature touch of oak integration imparts structure, spice, and a velvety texture, resulting in a harmonious and expressive wine that pays homage to the diverse landscapes of the Rhône.

🍾 wine.about_producer

Founded in 1946 by Étienne Guigal in the ancient village of Ampuis, Domaine E. Guigal has become one of the Rhône Valley's most illustrious and influential wine estates. Now managed by Marcel and Philippe Guigal, the family is headquartered at the historic Château d'Ampuis, where they craft legendary wines that define the northern and southern Rhône. The estate is globally renowned for its iconic Côte-Rôtie single-vineyard bottlings—La Mouline, La Turque, and La Landonne—as well as the opulent Condrieu La Doriane. Their uncompromising production philosophy emphasizes extremely long barrel aging in their custom, in-house cooperage, resulting in wines of extraordinary depth, structure, and longevity.
