The Le Gallais estate, situated in the historic village of Wiltingen along the Saar river, has been under the stewardship of the legendary Egon Müller family since 1954. The Wiltinger Braune Kupp (meaning 'brown hill') is a steep, south-facing vineyard renowned for its unique terroir of iron-rich, reddish-brown Devonian slate. This single-vineyard Riesling Kabinett is crafted with absolute minimalism, utilizing wild yeasts and traditional neutral oak Fuder casks. The resulting wine is a masterclass in tension, capturing the cool-climate energy of the Saar with its signature blend of delicate residual sweetness, electric acidity, and a distinct, smoky minerality that has made the Müller name synonymous with the world's finest Rieslings.

Historien bag Weingut Egon Müller-Scharzhof strækker sig tilbage til 1797, hvor Jean-Jacques Koch erhvervede den historiske ejendom i Wiltingen, beliggende i Saar-dalen i Tysklands berømte Mosel-region. Vingården er gået i arv gennem generationer og har i dag opnået verdensry under ledelse af Egon Müller IV.
