Named for its distinctive iron-rich, reddish-brown slate soils, this site yields wines of incredible power, mineral depth, and structure. The 'Auktion' designation signifies that this particular bottling is a rare, ultra-selective cask reserved exclusively for the prestigious annual VDP auction in Trier, representing the absolute pinnacle of the vintage's Spätlese production.
