Emiliana's 'Adobe' range is named in honor of the traditional sun-dried clay bricks used in historic Chilean architecture, representing a fundamental connection to the earth and sustainable agriculture. Crafted from organically grown grapes in Chile's Central Valley, this Gewurztraminer showcases the region's ability to balance warm daytime sun with cooling evening breezes from the Andes and the Pacific. The wine is vinified entirely in stainless steel tanks to preserve its vibrant, primary fruit character and intense floral aromatics. It reflects Emiliana's pioneering commitment to biodynamic and organic viticulture, delivering a pure, expressive, and terroir-driven white wine that captures the natural essence of the valley.
🍾 About the Producer
Founded in 1986 by the Guilisasti family, Emiliana has grown to become the world's leading producer of organic and biodynamic wines. In the late 1990s, visionary director Rafael Guilisasti partnered with renowned consulting winemaker Álvaro Espinoza to pioneer ecological viticulture across Chile's most prestigious wine regions, including the Casablanca, Maipo, Colchagua, and Cachapoal Valleys. Guided by Demeter-certified biodynamic farming principles, Emiliana eliminates synthetic inputs in favor of natural preparations and native biodiversity to authentically reflect terroir. The estate is widely celebrated for its flagship biodynamic red blends, notably Coyam and Gê, as well as expressive single-vineyard expressions of Carmenère, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Syrah.
