The 'Novas' range from Emiliana is named after the Latin word for 'new stars,' paying homage to the ancient astronomers who observed the night sky to map the natural cycles of the earth. This celestial connection is central to Emiliana's philosophy, where organic and biodynamic vineyard practices align farming with cosmic and terrestrial rhythms. Sourced from the diverse terroirs of Chile's Central Valley, this Gran Reserva Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot blend thrives under a Mediterranean climate. Warm, sun-drenched days are tempered by cool evening breezes sweeping down from the Andes and in from the Pacific Ocean, allowing the grapes to achieve optimal phenolic ripeness while retaining vibrant natural acidity. The resulting wine is aged carefully to integrate its structured tannins, delivering a pure, expressive, and harmonious representation of Chile's signature red varieties.

Founded in 1986 by the Guilisasti family, Emiliana has grown to become the world's leading producer of organic and biodynamic wines. In the late 1990s, visionary director Rafael Guilisasti partnered with renowned consulting winemaker Álvaro Espinoza to pioneer ecological viticulture across Chile's most prestigious wine regions, including the Casablanca, Maipo, Colchagua, and Cachapoal Valleys. Guided by Demeter-certified biodynamic farming principles, Emiliana eliminates synthetic inputs in favor of natural preparations and native biodiversity to authentically reflect terroir.
