Emiliana's Novas range is named in honor of the ancient astronomers who observed 'nova' stars—sudden, brilliant bursts of light in the night sky that signaled new beginnings. This spirit of discovery mirrors Emiliana's pioneering transition to organic and biodynamic viticulture in Chile. Sourced from the cool-climate vineyards of the Casablanca Valley within the greater Aconcagua region, this Pinot Noir thrives under the cooling influence of the Pacific Ocean's Humboldt Current and morning fogs. The grapes are grown on decomposed granitic soils with clay, which impart a distinct mineral edge to the wine. It is typically fermented in stainless steel and aged partially in French oak barrels to strike a harmonious balance between vibrant red fruit expression and subtle, elegant complexity.
