In this green, rain-kissed landscape, the delicate Pinot Noir grape finds a cool-climate sanctuary. Emiliana applies its pioneering organic and biodynamic philosophies here, working in harmony with the natural elements and volcanic-influenced soils. Nurtured by cool southern breezes and dramatic diurnal temperature shifts, the grapes ripen slowly, preserving their vibrant acidity. The resulting wine is a pure, elegant expression of place, showcasing bright red berries, wild herbs, and a subtle earthy minerality that reflects the pristine beauty of southern Chile.
🍾 About the Producer
Founded in 1986 by the Guilisasti family, Emiliana has grown to become the world's leading producer of organic and biodynamic wines. In the late 1990s, visionary director Rafael Guilisasti partnered with renowned consulting winemaker Álvaro Espinoza to pioneer ecological viticulture across Chile's most prestigious wine regions, including the Casablanca, Maipo, Colchagua, and Cachapoal Valleys. Guided by Demeter-certified biodynamic farming principles, Emiliana eliminates synthetic inputs in favor of natural preparations and native biodiversity to authentically reflect terroir. The estate is widely celebrated for its flagship biodynamic red blends, notably Coyam and Gê, as well as expressive single-vineyard expressions of Carmenère, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Syrah.
