✨ Technical Specifications
Hailing from the pioneering Aconcagua Costa vineyard, located just 12 kilometers from the cold Pacific Ocean, this Pinot Noir represents a dramatic shift in Chilean winemaking toward extreme cool-climate terroirs. Planted on unique metamorphic soils rich in schist and slate—locally known as 'pizarra'—the vines struggle in thin soils, resulting in low yields of highly concentrated fruit. The chilly maritime breezes and morning mists slow down ripening, preserving vibrant acidity and delicate aromatics. In the cellar, Errázuriz utilizes gentle extraction, partial whole-cluster fermentation for added structural complexity, and aging in French oak barrels with a low percentage of new oak to craft a wine defined by its bright red fruit, savory herbal undertones, and distinct mineral tension.
🍾 About the Producer

Under the visionary stewardship of Eduardo Chadwick, the family-owned winery played a transformative role in demonstrating Chile's world-class winemaking pedigree to the international community, epitomized by the historic 2004 Berlin Tasting. Combining state-of-the-art sustainable viticulture with a deep reverence for the valley's distinct Andean and coastal microclimates, the estate is dedicated to crafting wines of exceptional elegance, structure, and aging potential.
