Viñedo Chadwick is one of Chile's ultimate cult wines, born from a deeply personal tribute. In 1992, Eduardo Chadwick convinced his father, Don Alfonso Chadwick—a legendary Chilean polo champion—to convert his beloved personal polo field in the Puente Alto sub-region of the Maipo Valley into a vineyard. This gravelly, clay-loam terroir, cooled by gentle breezes descending from the Andes Mountains, proved to be an absolute paradise for Cabernet Sauvignon. The wine achieved legendary status at the historic 2004 Berlin Tasting, where the 2000 vintage triumphed over Bordeaux first growths in a blind tasting, forever altering the global perception of Chilean fine wine. Crafted with meticulous berry selection and aged in French oak, it is celebrated for its exquisite structure, refined tannins, and deep complexity.
