Viña Errázuriz’s Wild Ferment Chardonnay is a landmark Chilean white wine that showcases the dramatic, cool-climate terroir of the Aconcagua Costa, located just kilometers from the Pacific Ocean. This pioneering cuvée embraces the unpredictability of nature by utilizing only indigenous "wild" yeasts present on the grape skins, a technique that imparts remarkable complexity, texture, and a distinct sense of place. The grapes are grown in schist-rich soils, cooled by maritime breezes and morning fogs. Fermented in French oak barrels and aged on its fine lees, the wine beautifully balances vibrant coastal acidity with a creamy, toasted brioche richness, representing a sophisticated evolution in Chilean Chardonnay.
