Crafted in the cool, high-altitude heights of the Uco Valley, Familia Zuccardi's Blanc de Blancs is a sparkling masterpiece that showcases the exceptional potential of Mendoza's mountain terroirs for traditional-method sparkling wines. Sourced from Chardonnay vines planted in the calcareous soils of Tupungato at over 1,400 meters above sea level, this cuvée benefits from intense solar radiation and dramatic diurnal temperature shifts. The grapes are hand-harvested early to preserve their vibrant, electric acidity. Following the traditional Champenoise method, the wine undergoes secondary fermentation in the bottle and spends an extended period aging on its fine lees. This patient maturation imparts a complex autolytic character of toasted brioche, hazelnut, and delicate white flowers, beautifully balanced by a crystalline, mineral-driven spine that reflects the limestone-rich soils of the Andes.

Familia Zuccardi blev grundlagt i Mendoza i 1963 af Alberto Zuccardi og har siden udviklet sig til et af Argentinas mest visionære og prestigefyldte familiedrevne vindynastier. Under ledelse af José Alberto Zuccardi og tredjegenerations-vinmageren Sebastián Zuccardi har vinhuset rettet sit primære fokus mod højtbeliggende vindyrkning i Uco Valley. Her har de været pionerer inden for dybdegående geologiske jordbundsanalyser og gæring på neutrale betontanke for at fremhæve vinenes autentiske terroiroprindelse. Fra topmoderne vinerier som det anmelderroste Piedra Infinita i Paraje Altamira skaber Zuccardi skelsættende, mineralske Malbec-vine – heriblandt Finca Piedra Infinita – samt enestående fortolkninger af Bonarda og Cabernet Sauvignon fordelt over både rød-, hvid-, mousserende og hedvin.
