The 'Q' on the label of this exceptional Cabernet Sauvignon stands for 'Quality,' a designation that traces its origins back to the late 1990s when Familia Zuccardi began marking their finest vineyard parcels with a 'Q' to signify special care and older vine selection. This wine represents a milestone as the first premium line to bear the family name. Sourced from high-altitude vineyards in the Uco Valley—specifically Gualtallary and El Cepillo—the grapes thrive in sandy-loam soils rich in calcium carbonate. The extreme diurnal temperature variation of these high-elevation sites preserves natural acidity while allowing the Cabernet Sauvignon grapes to develop deep concentration and refined tannins. Fermented in concrete vessels and aged in a combination of concrete and French oak barrels, the wine showcases a beautiful tension between ripe dark fruit, black pepper, and a distinct mineral backbone characteristic of the Uco Valley's alluvial soils.

Familia Zuccardi blev grundlagt i Mendoza i 1963 af Alberto Zuccardi og har siden udviklet sig til et af Argentinas mest visionære og prestigefyldte familiedrevne vindynastier. Under ledelse af José Alberto Zuccardi og tredjegenerations-vinmageren Sebastián Zuccardi har vinhuset rettet sit primære fokus mod højtbeliggende vindyrkning i Uco Valley. Her har de været pionerer inden for dybdegående geologiske jordbundsanalyser og gæring på neutrale betontanke for at fremhæve vinenes autentiske terroiroprindelse. Fra topmoderne vinerier som det anmelderroste Piedra Infinita i Paraje Altamira skaber Zuccardi skelsættende, mineralske Malbec-vine – heriblandt Finca Piedra Infinita – samt enestående fortolkninger af Bonarda og Cabernet Sauvignon fordelt over både rød-, hvid-, mousserende og hedvin.
