Hailing from the sun-drenched terraces of the southern Rhône, Famille Perrin's Cairanne 'Peyre Blanche' is a beautiful expression of the Cairanne AOC, which was elevated to Cru status in 2016. The name 'Peyre Blanche' translates to 'white stone,' referencing the prominent limestone-rich soils of the vineyards that reflect the intense Mediterranean sunlight back onto the vines. This unique terroir, swept by the purifying Mistral wind, imparts a distinct mineral freshness to the wine. Primarily a blend of Grenache and Syrah, the grapes are vinified with the Perrin family's signature expertise, utilizing temperature-controlled fermentation and aging in a combination of stainless steel and traditional oak foudres to retain the purity of the dark berry fruit and the savory complexity of wild garrigue.

Famille Perrin er et af de mest respekterede vinhuse i det sydlige Rhône og har sit historiske anker i den berømte ejendom Château de Beaucastel i Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Gennem generationer har Perrin-familien været pionerer inden for bæredygtighed; allerede i 1950 omlagde de til økologisk dyrkning, og i 1974 indførte den visionære Jacques Perrin biodynamiske metoder. Husets vinfilosofi bygger på et autentisk terroirudtryk, biodiversitet og bevarelsen af de stolte traditioner for blandingsvine – ikke mindst gennem anvendelsen af alle tretten tilladte druesorter i Châteauneuf-du-Pape med en særlig forkærlighed for Mourvèdre.
