Domaine du Clos des Tourelles is a historic estate situated at the foot of the picturesque village of Gigondas. The heart of the property is an ancient walled vineyard—a rare 'clos' in the Southern Rh%ne—dominated by a grand family home featuring the distinctive turrets ('tourelles') that give the estate its name. Acquired by the Famille Perrin in 2008, this vineyard benefits from a highly specific microclimate, where cold air currents descending from the dramatic Dentelles de Montmirail mountains help to moderate the heat, extending the ripening period. The soils are composed of calcareous marl and limestone-rich clay. Vinified traditionally with a high proportion of whole-cluster fermentation in oak vats and aged in large oak foudres, this wine represents a refined, deeply structured, and aromatic expression of Gigondas terroir.

Established in the southern Rhône Valley and closely tied to the legendary Château de Beaucastel since 1909, Famille Perrin is one of France's most respected winemaking dynasties. Under the visionary guidance of Jacques Perrin and subsequent generations, the family pioneered organic viticulture in 1950 and biodynamic farming in 1974. Based in Courthézon, they are celebrated for their masterful blending of all thirteen permitted Châteauneuf-du-Pape grape varieties, aging their wines in traditional large oak foudres to preserve purity and terroir.
