In the sun-drenched landscapes of the Southern Rhône, Famille Perrin's 'Vieilles Vignes' (old vines) philosophy represents a deep reverence for the region's viticultural heritage. Old vines are the quiet heroes of the Rhône; their roots plunge deep through layers of clay, limestone, and stony galets, drawing nutrients and moisture from far beneath the arid surface. This deep root system allows the ancient vines—many of which have weathered decades of fierce Mistral winds and scorching summers—to yield small, highly concentrated berries. The resulting red wines are celebrated for their profound depth, complex aromatics of dark bramble fruit, garrigue, and sweet spices, and a velvety, structured texture that only age-old vineyards can bestow. Crafted with the family's signature minimal-intervention approach, these wines are traditionally aged in large oak foudres to allow the pure, old-vine terroir to shine through without being overshadowed by new oak.

Famille Perrin er et af de mest respekterede vinhuse i det sydlige Rhône og har sit historiske anker i den berømte ejendom Château de Beaucastel i Châteauneuf-du-Pape. Gennem generationer har Perrin-familien været pionerer inden for bæredygtighed; allerede i 1950 omlagde de til økologisk dyrkning, og i 1974 indførte den visionære Jacques Perrin biodynamiske metoder. Husets vinfilosofi bygger på et autentisk terroirudtryk, biodiversitet og bevarelsen af de stolte traditioner for blandingsvine – ikke mindst gennem anvendelsen af alle tretten tilladte druesorter i Châteauneuf-du-Pape med en særlig forkærlighed for Mourvèdre. I dag står Famille Perrin bag en bred og prestigefuld portefølje, der spænder fra den legendariske og lagringsværdige Château de Beaucastel Hommage à Jacques Perrin til arketypiske fortolkninger af Gigondas, Cairanne og klassisk Côtes du Rhône.
