Bodegas Faustino, located in the heart of Rioja Alavesa in Oyon, has been a cornerstone of Spanish winemaking since its founding in 1861. The Faustino V Rosado is instantly recognizable by its signature frosted bottle, featuring a classic Rembrandt portrait that reflects the estate's respect for timeless artistry. This vibrant rose is typically crafted from Tempranillo, sometimes blended with a touch of Viura, sourced from vineyards planted in clay-limestone soils. The grapes undergo a brief maceration to extract its brilliant pale pink hue and delicate aromas of fresh red currants, wild strawberries, and white flowers. Fermented in stainless steel to preserve its youthful energy, this wine beautifully represents the classic, refreshing style of Rioja rosado, balancing bright Atlantic-influenced acidity with a smooth, fruit-forward finish.

Bodegas Faustino blev grundlagt i 1861 af Eleuterio Martínez Arzok og er en ikonisk, familieejet vingård beliggende i Oyón i hjertet af Spaniens prestigefyldte Rioja Alavesa-region. Vingården ledes i dag af fjerde generation af Martínez Zabala-familien og råder over mere end 650 hektar førsteklasses vinmarker i Rioja, hvor traditionel vindyrkning går hånd i hånd med omhyggelig fadlagring. Huset er verdenskendt for sine karakteristiske flasker i matteret glas og de historiske etiketter med Rembrandt-portrætter.
