Hailing from the Dàgala Borromeo estate in the fertile plains of the Trapani countryside, Firriato's Chiaramonte Chardonnay is a vibrant expression of how an international noble grape adapts to the sun-drenched Sicilian terroir. The name pays homage to the historic Chiaramonte dynasty, one of Sicily's most powerful medieval noble families whose legacy still echoes through the island's grand castles. Cultivated on clay-loam soils under the intense Mediterranean sun, mitigated by gentle sea breezes, this wine avoids oak aging to let the pure, expressive fruit shine. Vinified entirely in stainless steel, it captures the essence of Sicilian warmth with a crisp, elegant structure, balancing ripe tropical fruit notes with a distinct saline minerality born of its coastal-influenced terroir.
