Firriato's Quater Bianco, also known as Quater Vitis, is a liquid tapestry celebrating Sicily's rich viticultural heritage. The name 'Quater' refers to the harmonious union of four of the island's most defining white grape varieties: Catarratto, Grillo, Inzolia, and Zibibbo. Sourced from the estate's sustainably farmed vineyards in the Trapani countryside, each variety is vinified separately to respect its unique ripening cycle and character before being artfully blended. The Zibibbo infuses the wine with an exotic, aromatic perfume, while Grillo lends backbone and crisp acidity. Inzolia contributes a delicate, nutty elegance, and Catarratto rounds out the palate with body and structure. Fermented entirely in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks and aged on its fine lees, this wine captures the vibrant, sun-drenched essence of the Mediterranean breeze and Sicily's diverse soils.

Firriato blev grundlagt i 1984 af Salvatore Di Gaetano og hans hustru Vinizia Novara og regnes i dag blandt Siciliens førende vinproducenter med stor anerkendelse for deres rolle i øens vinøse renæssance. Vingården råder over bemærkelsesværdigt varierede terroirs på tværs af Sicilien – fra Trapani-landskabets solbeskinnede vinmarker og øen Favignanas maritime klima til Etnas højtbeliggende, vulkanske skråninger. Firriato er dybt engageret i certificeret økologisk dyrkning og bæredygtighed, og de værner om den autentiske biodiversitet med fokus på oprindelige sicilianske druesorter som Nero d'Avola, Nerello Mascalese og Grillo suppleret med udvalgte internationale sorter.
