Quater Rosso (also known as Quater Vitis Rosso) is a masterful liquid tapestry woven from four of Sicily's most defining indigenous red grape varieties: Nero d'Avola, Perricone, Frappato, and Nerello Cappuccio. Grown in the clay-rich soils of the Pianoro Cuddìa estate in the Trapani countryside, this wine represents a harmonious dialogue between the island's diverse viticultural heritages. Each grape is harvested at its optimal ripeness and vinified separately to preserve its unique character before blending. Nero d'Avola provides the robust backbone of dark fruit and structure, Perricone contributes deep color and rustic spice, Frappato infuses vibrant fresh berry aromas and acidity, while Nerello Cappuccio lends elegant floral notes and soft tannins. The wine is aged in French oak barriques to seamlessly integrate these distinct personalities into a single, cohesive expression of Sicilian terroir.
