✨ wine.spec_sheet

Hailing from the historic Fontanafredda estate in Piedmont—originally founded in 1858 by Vittorio Emanuele II, the first King of Italy, as a gift for his beloved mistress Rosa Vercellana—this Blanc de Blancs Extra Brut is a testament to royal heritage and sparkling craftsmanship. Crafted primarily from Chardonnay grown in the marine-sedimentary, clay-limestone soils of the Langhe hills, this Metodo Classico (traditional method) sparkling wine undergoes secondary fermentation in the bottle followed by extensive lees aging in the estate's historic 19th-century cellars. The result is a sophisticated sparkling wine that beautifully balances the cool-climate freshness of Piedmont with a creamy complexity, offering notes of white blossoms, crisp green apple, and toasted brioche.
