Frédéric Cossard's 'Skin-Contact Feel Good' is a captivating expression of Savagnin, sourced from the neighboring Jura region and vinified with Cossard's signature low-intervention mastery in Burgundy. Born from his desire to explore the limits of skin maceration, this orange wine undergoes extended contact with grape skins, often utilizing Georgian qvevris (clay amphorae) for fermentation and aging. This ancient technique coaxes out deep amber hues, complex phenolic structures, and an array of exotic aromatics ranging from dried orange peel and black tea to wild mountain herbs. Bottled entirely without added sulfur, it is a testament to Cossard's philosophy of capturing the raw, unadulterated energy of the grape, bridging the historic traditions of Jura and Georgia with Burgundian finesse.

Domaine de Chassorney og det eponyme Frédéric Cossard-domæne blev grundlagt i Saint-Romain i 1996 af Frédéric Cossard og har siden etableret sig som absolutte referencepunkter inden for Bourgognes naturvinsbevægelse. Cossard arbejder kompromisløst med minimal indgriben, dyrker markerne efter økologiske og biodynamiske principper, vinificerer udelukkende med den vilde gær og fravælger både klaring, filtrering og tilsat svovl. Vingården udmærker sig ved sin innovative tilgang til modning, hvor brugte egetræsfade kombineres med georgiske qvevri-leramforaer for at bevare den fuldstændige druerenhed og terroirets klare transparens.
