Crafted by Burgundy's natural wine icon Frédéric Cossard under his négociant label, 'Zizifredo' is a captivating skin-contact white wine that showcases his adventurous spirit. Sourced from organic vineyards outside of Burgundy, this cuvée is made from Muscat à Petits Grains. Cossard applies his signature non-interventionist philosophy to this orange wine, macerating the whole bunches on their skins to extract complex textures, deep amber hues, and exotic aromatics. Fermented with indigenous yeasts and bottled without any added sulfur, Zizifredo is a testament to Cossard's mastery of amphora and low-intervention winemaking, resulting in a wine that is intensely aromatic, dry, and beautifully structured.

Founded in 1996 by Frédéric Cossard in Saint-Romain, Domaine de Chassorney and the namesake Frédéric Cossard label have emerged as touchstones of Burgundy's natural wine movement. Committed to uncompromising minimal intervention, Cossard practices organic and biodynamic viticulture, vinifying with indigenous yeasts and eschewing fining, filtration, and added sulfur. The estate is distinguished by its innovative aging vessels, balancing seasoned oak barrels with Georgian clay qvevris to preserve absolute varietal purity and terroir transparency.
