With roots reaching back to 1861 and officially established under its famous moniker in 1914, Freixenet was forged by the union of Pedro Ferrer Bosch and Dolores Sala Vivé in Sant Sadurní d'Anoia, the historic heart of Catalonia's sparkling wine region.
