Crafted by the historic Marchesi de' Frescobaldi, a family whose winemaking legacy in Tuscany spans over seven hundred years, Albizzia is a vibrant expression of 100% Chardonnay. Grown in select Tuscan vineyards, this wine is designed to capture the grape's purest, most youthful fruit characteristics. Unlike heavily oaked Chardonnays, Albizzia is fermented and aged entirely in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. This preservation technique highlights bright aromas of green apple, citrus zest, and delicate white flowers, underpinned by a crisp, mineral-driven acidity that reflects the sun-drenched, maritime-influenced Tuscan terroir.

Tracing its viticultural origins to 1308, Marchesi Frescobaldi is an iconic Florentine noble dynasty that has shaped Tuscan winemaking across thirty generations. Spanning celebrated historical holdings—including Castello Nipozzano in Chianti Rùfina, Castello Pomino, Tenuta Castiglioni, CastelGiocondo in Montalcino, and the social viticulture initiative on the penal island of Gorgona—the family stewards diverse terroirs ranging from galestro-rich hills to cool-climate Apennine elevations.
