✨ Technical Specifications
Hailing from the historic Castello Pomino estate high in the cool, breezy hills of Tuscany, Leonia Rosé is a Metodo Classico sparkling wine that pays tribute to the audacious spirit of Leonia Frescobaldi. In the late 19th century, Leonia courageously planted French varieties like Pinot Noir on these Tuscan slopes, earning a gold medal at the 1878 Paris Exposition. Crafted primarily from Pinot Nero, this elegant rosé undergoes secondary fermentation in the bottle and spends extensive time aging on its lees. The unique high-altitude terroir of Pomino imparts a vibrant acidity and refined minerality, beautifully balancing the wine's delicate notes of wild strawberry, pomegranate, and toasted brioche.
