The Frescobaldi family represents over seven hundred years of Tuscan winemaking history, famously supplying wine to Renaissance masters like Donatello and the historic courts of Europe. 'Pater' is a vibrant, youthful tribute to Sangiovese, the undisputed patriarch grape of Tuscan viticulture. Sourced from estate vineyards across the sun-drenched hills of Tuscany, this Toscana IGT is crafted to emphasize freshness and immediate pleasure. Unlike its more muscular, heavily-wooded regional siblings, Pater undergoes fermentation and aging primarily in stainless steel tanks. This preservation-focused approach coaxes out the grape's signature bright red cherry, wild strawberry, and subtle floral aromas, supported by a crisp acidity and supple tannins that reflect the region's classic clay-limestone soils.
