✨ wine.spec_sheet

Hailing from Tenuta Castiglioni, the ancestral estate where the Frescobaldi family's winemaking legacy began over seven hundred years ago, Giramonte is a modern masterpiece of Tuscan viticulture. First released in 1999, this rare and exclusive cru is born from a single vineyard situated on the gentle, clay-rich hills of southwest Florence. The blend is predominantly Merlot with a touch of Sangiovese, combining the lush, velvety texture of the international grape with the vibrant acidity and structure of Tuscany's signature variety. The grapes benefit from a warm microclimate with refreshing maritime breezes, resulting in exceptional ripeness and aromatic complexity. After meticulous hand-harvesting, the wine is aged for approximately 16 months in French oak barriques, yielding an opulent, full-bodied profile rich with dark berries, cocoa, and refined spices, wrapped in a legacy of nobility and terroir.
