Hailing from Tenuta di Castiglioni, the oldest and most historic estate of the Frescobaldi family dating back to 1092, Salta Grilli Rosato is a vibrant expression of the Tuscan countryside southwest of Florence. The name 'Salta Grilli' (meaning 'jumping crickets') pays homage to the lively, sun-drenched summer days in the vineyards of Montespertoli, where the singing of crickets fills the warm air. Crafted primarily from estate-grown Syrah and Cabernet Franc, this Rosato is produced using gentle soft-pressing and brief skin contact to achieve its delicate, pale pink hue. Fermented entirely in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks to preserve its pristine fruit character, the wine showcases bright aromas of wild strawberry, raspberry, and Mediterranean herbs, backed by a refreshing, mineral-driven finish.
